Cultivating Communities of Belonging where disempowered people can Learn and Grow.

Transforming futures through education, wellbeing, belonging, and the grace, compassion and love of Jesus Christ.

Who we are

Transformed Futures is a not for profit charity providing quality alternative education and social services for disempowered and marginalised young people.

In partnership with Child Safety, Youth Justice and other not-for-profit organisations, we operate a special assistance school in Logan City and plan to extend our impact by establishing an animal-assisted special assistance school in the City of Moreton Bay.

Our history

Transformed Futures Established

In 2017, Transformed Futures was established to continue the program. By 2019, Carbrook Centre was accredited and began its first official year as a registered independent school.

Carbrook Centre

From 2021 to 2025, Carbrook Centre experienced significant growth and development. The site expanded to include two demountable learning spaces and a covered equine arena, strengthening our unique animal-assisted learning environment. Through continued investment in education and trauma-sensitive practice, enrolments grew to 40 young people.

Expansion Begins

From 2025, Transformed Futures plans to expand its trauma-informed, animal-assisted education programs to the Moreton Bay region, offering tailored support for young people needing alternative pathways to thrive.

Our Founding School in Carbrook

The Carbrook Centre cultivates a place of belonging where students can learn and grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
